TANGHAL 6 VISAYAS in Dumaguete City

(design by Yuen Anfone)

Every theater enthusiast in Dumaguete is now excited for the upcoming TANGHAL 6 Visayas. TANGHAL is an annual theater festival for university and college-based theater groups in the Philippines. It is the flagship project of the NCCA National Committee on Dramatic Arts for the National Arts Month celebration every February. The festival offers best performances of university theater companies all over the country, as truly showcasing the harvest of Philippine theater.

This year NCCA decided to bring the festival to the regional level, and in the Visayas region it will be held here in DUMAGUETE CITY on FEBRUARY 27-29, 2012, hosted by Silliman University and the Youth Advocates Through Theater Arts (YATTA) headed by its artistic director Dessa Quesada-Palm.
